A Cozy Christmas Card: Earmuffs Theo Penguin from Polkadoodles

Today, I’m excited to share one of my latest creations using the Earmuffs Theo Penguin printable digital stamp by Polkadoodles. This festive card is perfect for spreading holiday cheer, with its vibrant colors and wintry feel.

Materials used:

Stamp: Earmuffs Theo Penguin - Printable Digital Stamp (Polkadoodles)

Background: Distress Inks

Snow effect: Gesso and Snowfall A5 Stencil (Polkadoodles)

Sentiment: “Merry Christmas”

To create the frosty, magical winter background, I blended a mix of blue Distress Inks. The gradient effect gives depth, mimicking a chilly sky. I added falling snow with the Snowfall A5 Stencil, lightly applying gesso to achieve a textured look. The gesso also highlights the icy edge on the platform where Theo stands.

After printing the Earmuffs Theo Penguin digital stamp, I colored it with alcohol markers to bring Theo to life. The cute earmuffs and scarf add such a warm, cozy touch! I fussy cut the penguin and mounted it on foam pads for a 3D effect. Finally, I added the “Merry Christmas” sentiment to complete the design.
